Started hunting primes in 1996. The majority of them were posted on Chris Caldwell or Rudolph Ondrejka databases. For the Chris Caldwell's database my name-codes were "CR", "gr" & "nr"

My Golden Year hunting primes was 1997. At the end of that year - and using the then recently launched (July 1997?) code Proth from the great Yves Gallot - I reached to the Caldwell's Top Ten Lists of Primes in the General  and Twins categories, respectively, with my primes 9183*2^262112+1 (6th place) and 843753*2^22222± 1 (2nd place).

See a scanned-at-home memory of these unforgettable (for me) Top Ten Pages: 1 , 2 (dated 20/01/98)

The first prime in particular meant a lot for us (Gallot and me) in those very moments because for the first time the Proth reached to the 1st place of the List of non-Mersenne primes (typically in hands of J. Young a member of the Cray Research Co. team, and before by the team named the Amdahl Six) producing a prime gotten by a solitaire hunter using a PC (as pointed out Gallot).
