Stephen Lucas is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and
Statistics at James Madison University. His research interests are
broad, but with mostly a computational bent. Recently, his research
includes 3d models for families of graphs, optimal rolling knots, the
power series method for solving differential equations to high accuracy,
and investigating various unusual bases for positional notation.
