The Puzzlers

I graduated from Reading University in 1985 with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. While I have always enjoyed mathematics and programming, my current interest in primes was sparked after I found Yves Gallot's wonderful Proth program, and discovered that I could actually use it to find record primes. Together with the great team of Chris Nash, Bob Burrowes and Randy Dunaeieff (and Proth.exe, of course) I played a small part in finding the largest non-Mersenne prime. I also discovered the first BiTwin chain of length 6, and the smallest CCs of length 14 and 15. I am always looking for new challenges in this area, particularly problems that require a bit of programming to get the solution.
